A 12-foot high floodwaters (and rising) engulfed Webbers Falls in Oklahoma. People had to immediately evacuate the place by the end of May. While most people brought their pets with them to safety, one family left their dog behind thinking that he would be able to survive the flood until their return.
The dog was left alone, hungry, and desperate for help for 2 days! The poor pup clung with all his might to a nearest tree, hoping for help to arrive!
Worried with their poor pup’s situation, the owner called American Humane rescue organization for help to rescue their beloved dog. True enough, rescue teams arrived with medical supplies, food, and a veterinarian if worse comes to worst situations.
The rescue team was, at first, not sure if the dog would have survived with such high waters. But they saw a light of hope when a poor white face peeked through the bushes. The team, hurriedly and safely secured the pup in the boat. His eyes were filled with “fear and exhaustion”.
Roscoe was reunited with his family and is helping their poor pup recover from the horrendous trauma that he just went through. Sure enough, the family learned a lesson – that Roscoe will never be left behind – no matter the circumstances!
