Only recently, a picture-perfect giant panda with an all-white fur coating was spotted in a forested area in the wild in China and quite remarkably so, the scientific community has been quick to jump to the chance to share the seamless picture of the breed which in itself is a rare occurrence after it was caught on a motion-activated camera while in its natural habitat.
The Panda, with white claws and furs with a ruddy color for eyes has been, if anything, one in a list that makes the ‘whitening’ mutant gene in the panda population in Wolong National Nature Reserve in Sichuan, China, from where they (scientists) were situated.
Scientists at this Nature Reserve in Sichuan, China, released the image in contrast with others that have been sighted before that’s had has is the norm in the panda population, shades of black or brown in ways proving the rarity of the singular color of this particular Panda.
n all-white furry Panda through a spectacle is itself naturally a disadvantage in the panda population as it marks the Panda for a predatory attack which is one evolutionary explanation to the reason behind the multi-colored hue adorned by many pandas as it allows for better stealth and escapes while also accounting for the oddity of a single colored one.
Albinism is a lack of comparable melanin level in a specie that accounts for color variance within that community of species with trappings such as light hair, light skin and dull colored eyes deviating from the norm and this often is stigmatized even amongst human species.
The ecstatic group of scientist after having sighted it says it looked rather strong, sturdy and capable as a panda and that its condition has not been much of a detriment to its as a Panda.
Upon this, they have made a motion to emplace more cameras in hope to track its life on a regular basis as the panda cub was a sight worthy of oversight.
Enjoy! and do share for the viewing pleasure of your friends and family too.
